How to Cook Lobster Tails

Lobster is a great dish, it’s pretty pricey in a restaurant but you can save a ton of money and still eat this delicacy without breaking the bank. You can usually find lobster tails on special and with 15 minutes of prep to pull the meat out then cook the tails, it’s a quick meal that you can cook up while you’re waiting for steaks to finish on the grill.

Beef Cuts

Here’s a handy chart on where the different beef cuts come from and what works best to cook them with.

Ghost Mango Chutney

I found this recipe online to make a Ghost Pepper / Mango Chutney that would go great on pork or chicken. You can add or decrease the amount of Ghost Pepper that you use to taste, as this will make for a spicy sauce.  A Ghost Pepper or Bhut Jolokia is about 6-10 times stronger than a Habanero, just to give you something to think about.

Citrus Garlic Gator

After spending my weekend watching Swamp Wars, which is a great show, I really want to try alligator.  I found a few places online, like Gatorama.com where you can order it and have it shipped right to your door. I’ll have to pick up a few pounds of rib and tail meat and give this recipe a try.

Honey Bacon Habanero Glazed Wings

  • by
You can never go wrong with Hot Wings, the hotter the better.  I seen a recipe where they coat the wings in a spicy, light breading before being glazed with the sticky hot sauce. These wings are coated in a paprika spice blend, then glazed with Honey Habanero sauce, and finished with crisp cooked bacon.

Teriyaki Beef

Teriyaki is actually a combination of 2 words, “Tari” for the shine that is left from the sugar content of the sauce and “Yaki” for cooking by grilling or broiling.  You can find any number of teriyaki sauces at the grocery store or market, but it basically all breaks down to Soy Sauce, Sugar , Garlic and Ginger.  It gives a sweet, salty, spicy and savory edge to any type of protein whether it’s Red Meat, Poultry or Fish.
