Homestyle Bacon Gravy

This weekend I was making breakfast and made biscuits, only because I had a tube that I wanted to get rid of. While I was making Bacon, I decided to go with a sausage gravy idea, so I whipped this up and it came out pretty good. it’s a really easy recipe and it was all stuff that I had anyways so it cost next to nothing for me to have breakfast and lunch.

Super Easy Broccoli Soup

I made this soup after coming across the video on youtube. It’s so easy it’s stupid and it makes for a good healthy lunch. I like broccoli but usually only when it’s stir fried in a sauce so I added a few things to mix it up. I threw in 3 cloves of garlic and about 1/3 of an onion to the broccoli as it boiled and then added that to the food processor. Also, Instead of drizzling the Olive Oil in the bowl I just added about a tablespoon to the blender as well so that it was mixed in. Instead of the walnuts and goat cheese, I just shredded some pepper jack cheese and then I used Sriracha to drizzle over at the end.

Custom Guitar Pedal Travel Case

  • by

This weekend I finally got some time to build up a project I’ve been planning for a few months now. I got enough pedals to where I just don’t have enough room for them on the pedal board I had. Also, all the wires were a pain in the ass and jumbled up. I seen a couple  examples online and they were all around $200-$500 for the size I needed. (1, 2, 3) I’ve had leftover wood from a mirror project I did a few months ago, so I planned something out more to my needs and easier on the bank account. I came up with a 19″ x  29″ hard, powered pedal board / travel case.

All the Plans I need
All the Plans I need

My biggest needs was to be able to layout in a useful manner all of my pedals. Because I have 10 of them, I needed to be able to tap one on or off without crushing another. Also, I had a wireless system that barely got any use so I wanted to incorporate that as well. I decided to go with a 2 level setup to maximize my space available. Largest Pool in the World!

  • by

Somehow, this came up in conversation about the worlds biggest pool. Break out the smartphones and checked it out. This pool is insane.  It was built by a company called Crystal Lagoons out of Chile for a private resort called San Alfonso del Mar. This pool is just ridiculously huge and completely dwarves the 2nd largest pool recognized by the Guiness Book O’ Records.
