One of the things I love for breakfast is a bagel smothered in flavored Cream Cheese. Einstein Bros. has the best bagel flavors around, the Jalapeno Salsa Schmear is just outta this world. This is a recipe to get you close to that awesome kick that goes great on bagels or even as a dip for pita slices or tortilla chips. It’s probably not the healthiest spread to pile on but it sure is the tastiest.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
- 3 Jalapeno Peppers
- 1 Diced Tomato
- 1 Red Peppers
- 1 tsp Tomato Puree
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 Diced Onion
- 1 clove Minced Garlic
Directions:
- Put all ingredients besides Cream Cheese into food processor, blend thoroughly.
- Add pureed ingredients in large bowl with Cream Cheese until everything is completely blended.
- Store in airtight container and use within 3-4 days for best results.
