Nothing is better on a carne asada burrito than a spicy green sauce. This is a pretty basic recipe to make a good roasted jalapeno sauce that isn’t too hot and gives a fresh kick to any meats.
A Flavor Kick to the Teeth
Ingredients:
12 Jalapeno Peppers
4 cloves Garlic
Salt and Pepper
Lemon Juice
Prefectly Roasted Jalapenos
Directions:
*Cut Jalapenos in half and deseed. Roast on Grill or in 425 degree Oven until skins blacken, remove skins.*
Add roasted Jalapenos to blender along with Garlic, Salt and Pepper.
Fill with Lime Juice until covering 3/4 of other ingredients.
Blend until smooth. Serve, The rest will stay good for about a week.
