Jack Daniels is a great American style Whiskey. It not only tastes great on the rocks, but adds alot of flavor and body to foods when added to recipes. Here’s 2 awesome recipes you can use at your next BBQ or get together to add a new level of excitement to your foods.

Jack Daniels Marinade
- 1/4 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 cup minced Green Onions
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar or Molasses
- 1/2 tsp. Salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Soy Sauce
- 1/2 ts. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder (not salt)
Blend all ingredients. Use as a marinade for shrimp, scallops, beef, chicken or pork.
After marinating, reserve marinade. Stir in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch into cold marinade. In a saucepan, bring marinade to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Use as a sauce for basting while cooking seafood or meat while it is being grilled or broiled.

Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 c. Jack Daniel whiskey
- 1 c. Chili Sauce
- 1/4 c. Molasses
- 1/4 c. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Course Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard
- 1 Cloves Minced Garlic
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes until it starts to thicken just a bit. Use generously on Red Meat, Poultry or Fish.
