In the summer months, you can find asparagus pretty cheap at almost all grocery stores, this quick recipe can be done on a grill or inside in a skillet, and adds a healthy flavorful side to any grilled meat, fish or main dish.
- 1 Bunch of Asparagus
- 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Hot Chili Oil
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Rinse off Asparagus and add to shallow baking dish.
- Coat thoroughly with all ingredients except Sesame Seeds and allow to marinate for 30-60 minutes (can use after 5 mintues)
- Place Asparagus on heated grill and allow to cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they have grill marks and start to turn a brighter green.
- Sprinkly on Sesame Seeds and serve!
