Looking up breakfast casseroles online, this one stood out as a super easy dish that can be whipped up the night before. It makes about enough for about 2 days of breakfast for 3 people.
- 1 Loaf of French Bread
- 8 Eggs
- 3 Cups Milk
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- s Tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Slice or rip the bread into about 1 inch pieces and layer the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk up the Eggs, Milk, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Sugar and Vanilla Extract. Pour over the bread and cover with foil.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30-45 minutes, until the bread puffs up.
- It’s best to prep this up the night before and then throw in the oven as you’re getting ready in the morning.
