Here’s a recipe for a Balsamic Sweet glaze for your steaks. I seen this in one of the recipes by Guy Fieri and from what I seen it looks like it could be pretty tasty. The sweetness adds a nice finish to your grilled steaks as well.
Ingredients:
- Your Favorite Steaks
- 2 Cups Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Diced Onion
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
- Start by caramelizing some Onions in a pan with some Olive Oil, When they have turned deep brown, add the Garlic and cook until that begins to turn golden brown.
- De-Glaze the pan with the Balsamic Vinegar and the wine, Add in the Brown Sugar and let the mix reduce for about half an hour over a low heat.
- Strain out the large chunks and allow the sauce to simmer down into a sticky glaze. Serve on the side with your grilled steaks and enjoy!
