Apples are so delicious when they are baked with some cinnamon and sugar. They make a great breakfast and an even better dessert. Outback has a great recipe for their Baked Apples, and this is a close copy of it that you can make in your own home.
- 10 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- Mix Butter, Cinnamon and Brown Sugar into a paste.
- Peel top half of the Apples and remove the cores. Flatten the bottom by cutting just a bit off to help them stand up, add to baking dish. Smother the apples liberally with the Cinnamon Sugar Butter paste.
- Bake uncovered at 375 for roughly 30-45 minutes, until the apples are soft. Baste often with the melted Cinnamon Sugar Butter in the baking dish.
