Unusual design. Uncommon brand. Out of production. Vintage. Anything hard to find. Anything out of the ordinary.
Link to a photo or information if you can.
(OR if you do not own: What unusual guitar have you played? What would you like to own?)
This is mine Dean Tonic S. Korean made. 2000-2007? $369 in 2000.
Surprisingly good sound. Very Versatile. Excellent playability. I bought it new. $99.
Ads appeared in 2001. Model was named "Martini." Same ad appeared with the name "Tonic." No explanation can be found for this.
Other colors were made at some point. As was double-cutaway.
I own many brands. Several types. Gibson. Fender. BC Rich. Ibanez. Dean. G&L. Guild. Peavey. Hagstrom. Mossman. Lucero. Rogue. No-name brands. 5 I will not sell. This is 1. Other 3 are vintage high dollar. 5th is a 60's Hagstrom classical. Very rare.
I have no 1 "favorite" guitar. I am poly-guitar-amorous. I keep the Tonic out on a stand. Play it every day. Along with my Hagstrom classical.
Only examples of Tonic sound on-line: 1 2

I am a left handed player which means I have a small selection to choose from on guitars. I was thinking of building my own, and came across warmoth. Has anyone built with them? How was the quality? Happy or disappointed with your guitar?
If anybody else has tried other companies please by all means tell me about your experience. I want as much information before I make the decision.
